Where most counselors start with talking, I always start from the physical. I use the body to arrive at new insights. We work on the self-knowledge of young people through a combination of different movement and meditation techniques. From intense strength training to relaxing yoga and breathing exercises to visualization techniques, exactly what is appropriate at that moment.
You can relax better after physical exertion. The relaxation opens the way for a good conversation and also creates space for clarity of mind, with all the associated benefits. This way you learn better and better how to maintain your body to remain strong, mobile and reactive. And to create a sharp calm mind, which is not just carried away by the emerging emotions or negative thoughts.
During the one-on-one coaching I offer the opportunity to work on functional strength and inner peace under professional guidance. It is good for young people to be able to stand in their own strength, and I use the physical body as an entrance to develop self-mastery. With all my experience I would like to be the person for the young people that I missed when I used to be in trouble with myself.
In practice, we work together to manifest a well-founded basis in which the young person learns from their own experience. We are working on the following points:

In the course of 10 sessions there is enough time for the teaching to really settle in with the young person and it becomes part of the lifestyle. We work together in a small group of maximum 6 young people, with exercises that have their roots in Martial arts, Yoga, Weightlifting and Mindfulness.

Self-mastery for a calm mind and a strong body.
There are many fitness gurus and mindfulness courses, but this special Masterclass brings those two worlds together.
You want to create a confident team around you, with your employees serving as role models for the young people you work with. In this 2.5-hour Masterclass you will become acquainted with Self-mastery. We use the body as a basis to become well grounded, so that your employees in turn inspire the young people to get the best out of themselves.
